The South African musician has been dropped from the list of performers at the Mapopoma Festival taking place in Victoria Falls in December because of her tweets last week.
Some of the tweets alleged that the Zimbabweans are owning houses built for poor South Africans with their taxes and she said “they should go”.
The wololo crooner has also alleged that her account was hacked after the Zimbabweans outcry seeking to block her from setting foot in Zimbabwe for the festival over her rants.
The second annual Mapopoma Festival which is to to be held in the resort town of Victoria Falls in December, claims that its not safe for the musician to travel to Zimbabwe after the outcry.
This decision was reached after extensive consultations between Babes Wodumo’s management and the Mapopoma Festival Board of Directors after the controversial Xenophobic tweets from her official Twitter account, wherein the musician alleges that she was hacked.
